How it works

When you send the bot a command — usually by tapping an “Open” button — the cloud passes the instruction to the controller, which triggers the gate exactly as a remote would. The whole round trip takes a moment, and the bot confirms the result.
Setting up gate control with a Telegram bot

Is opening a gate over Telegram secure?
Two things keep it safe. First, only accounts you have authorised can command your bot — a random person cannot message it and open your gate. Second, the link between the cloud and your controller is protected in transit, which is why encryption in remote access control devices is so important. As always, treat access to the bot like a key: give it to people you trust, and revoke it promptly when circumstances change.
